about

Waft Off dates back to 1986 and is descended from the unidentified exorcist of 'The Jezebel Spirit', a reference to a woman in the Book of Kings in the Hebrew Bible. Its verses originate from a flurry of erratic and strange speech lines, 'Queens got to lean' for instance, a reference to tendencies or urges to act in a particular way, 'orison', an archaic word for 'prayer' once widely used but no longer part of the language and so forth.

lyrics

Kings got an empire
Queens got to lean
Princess going too

Bid it up,
Waft Off

You know
By now too
Get that tune
Your orison

Minds are freaking
Freaking me night
And day, all day
Freaking me out

Kings going to blow it
Queens got to crack
Princess got the piece
